Tutorial for creating a home logo for construction industry
I have used Pen, Brush tools and also demonstrated how to use horizontal flip technique in this photoshop tutorial. I have also used grids to accurately draw shapes using pen tool
Step 1: In this tutorial we will learn how to design this kind of Logo for a mortgage website.
Step 2: First of all we will open a new file in Adobe Photoshop. Well create a new 350px by 200px document with a white background, and reset your background foreground colors to default (i.e. black white). After that goto View --> Show --> Grid (ctrl + ") for a perfect design.
Step 3: (Add new layer) By using pen tool  make this object.
Step 4: By alt + backspace fill this color = # 5D7134.
Step 5: (Add new layer) By using pen tool make this object.
Step 6: Fill the selection by using gradient tool  .
Step 7: Apply Outline settings are:
Step 8: (Add new layer) By using pen tool make this object.
Step 9: Fill the selection by using gradient tool .
Step 10: (Add new layer) By using pen tool make this object.
Step11: Fill the selection by using gradient tool
Step 12: Apply Outline settings are:
Step 13: (Add new layer) By using pen tool make this object.
Step 14: Change the top layer Layer 6 position below Layer 5.
Step 15: Fill the selection by using gradient tool .
Step 16: (Add new layer) By using pen tool make this object.
Step 17: Fill the selection by using gradient tool .
Step 18: (Add new layer) By using pen tool make this object.
Step 19: Fill the selection by using gradient tool .
Step 20: Select Layer 2.
Step 21: Apply Outline settings are: .
Step 22: Select all layers not the last one by ctrl + e merge those layers.
Step 23: By using blur tool  apply blur effect as pointed below.
Step 24: (Add new layer) By using pen tool make this object.
Step 25: By alt + backspace fill this color = # DAAB38.
Step 26: Apply Outline settings are:
Step 27: (Add new layer) By using pen tool make this object.
Step 28: Fill the selection by using gradient tool .
Step 29: Copy Layer 4 and through transform tool (ctrl + t) --> right click --> Flip Horizontal.
Step 30: (Add new layer) By using text tool  type "The Perfect Mortgage" in this font = Aachen BT and in this color = # B3DE7A, Font size = 37pt.
Step 31: Select the "Perfact" text only.
Step 32: Change the color of the selected text into white.
Step 33: Apply Outline.
Step 34: (Add new layer) By using text tool type "The Perfect Mortgage" in this font = Aachen BT and in this color = # DBAA34, Font size = 15pt.
Step 35: Set the tracking up to 300.
Step 36: After applying goto View --> Show --> Grid (ctrl + ") to remove grids from your Photoshop Document.
Step 37: The Final Output.
