Learn how to Create an Orb Button with some added effects. In this tutorial
we will use Text, Blending, Marquee and Masking Tool .
1.First you have to open a new document with white as your background( about
400 x 400), of course bigger if you want to make a giant Orb. On a new
layer create a circle(with Eliptical Marquee Tool, Size 350 x 350) and
fill with Black

2. Double-click the new layer and select the options as shown
below:




3. With Eliptical Marquee Tool create a circle (330
x 330 ) on a new layer and fill with any color (here i use Black).

4. Double-click the new layer and add Gradient Overlay.

5. With Eliptical Marquee Tool create a circle (320
x 320 ) on a new layer and fill with color of your choice (here i use
#4E8DEB).

6. Double-click the new layer and select the options as shown
below:

7. Select the Brush Tool (apply the settings as shown below)
and apply around the bottom of the circle.

8. On a new layer create a circle and fill with white color. Then
set the Opacity to 10%.

9. Again on a new layer create a eliptical shape and fill with
white color. Then set the Opacity to 8%

10. Add a nice text to the Orb.

11. Duplicate the text layer(change the color to white) and aplly
the settings as shown below:

12. Create a new layer and create a shape as shown below:

13. Fill with White color and double-click the layer, add blending
mode as shown below:

14. Now click the blue circle and Add Layer Mask.

15. Duplicate the mask layer and add Radial Blur filter
(apply the settings as shown below).


16. Click the shape of the new layer and press Ctrl + U.

17. Here is your final image.
