This tutorial will show you how to Create Stamp Effect. Learn how to use quickmask
in order to create a realistic postage stamp. In this tutorial we will use Text,
Blending and Marquee Tool.
1.First you have to open a new document, about 200 x 250, of course
bigger if you want to make a giant stamp.

2. Fill the background with black color and using rectangular
Marqee Tool create a rectangle in a new layer.

3. Press Q to enable quick masking.

4. From Filter menu select Distort > Glass.

5. Apply setting as shown below :

6. Press Q again to disable quick mask.

(Tips
: With Lasso Tool delete the unwanted area and center align the selected
area.)
7. Fill with white color (light color).

8. Duplicate the layer and decrease the size around 6-10
pixels. Change the color of the big stamp shape to a darker shade.

9. Using Rectagunlar Marqee Tool create a rectangle in
new layer and fill with desired color.

11. Double-click the top layer and change the layer style options
as shown below :

12. Add desired image.

13. Add text to complate the stamp.

14. Now it's time to add rubber stamp effect. Add another new
text layer and apply Wraped Text Effect as shown below :

15. Using Elliptical Marquee Tool add circle around the
text. Repeat the step two times.

16. From Edit menu select Stroke (about 4-6
pixels).
