Create a notebook and a pencil


Step 1: In this tutorial we will learn how to design a book and a pencil to show education, first of all we will open a new file in Adobe Photoshop. Well create a new 260px by 200px document with a white background.

Step 2: Add a new layer on top now with the help of pen tool draw this unusual shape:



Step 3: Fill it with black color by alt + backspace.

Step 4: Now add another layer on the top of the previous one and with the help pan tool draw the following object:

Step 5: Fill it with this color (#4C4A4C) by alt + backspace.


Step 6: Select the object that we have made in the step above and then goto Filter --> Noise --> Add Noise... here are the settings:


Step 7: After that use this brush whit white color to make unusual patterns on the object we have made in the first step:

Step 8: Just like unusual patterns below.

Step 9: Add new layer on the top of the previous one, now what the help of pen toll make this shape and fill it with this color (#949A94) by alt + backspace.

Step 10: Now add another layer and make this object with the help of pen tool.


Step 11: And now fill it with black color by alt + backspace.

Step 12: Add another new above the previous one layer and make this object with the help of pen tool and fill it with white color by alt + backspace.


Step 13: (Add new layer) In the top mid area made this object by using pen tool and fill it with white color by alt + backspace.

Step 14: (Add new layer) With the help of the same brush we use in the initial steps write "COM POSITION" in an unusual manner and also draw some rough lines below the book title.





Step 15: (Add new layer) Now when the book and its title is completed we will start to make the pencil, by using pen tool.


Step 16: (Add new layer) As we know that different pencils have different colors, this pencil will also be a colorfull one. Start with the middle area with the help of pen tool and fill it with this color (#FCCA04).

Step 17:(Add new layer) After the middle are make the other part as given below by using pen tool and fill it with this color (#FCCA94).


Step 18: (Add new layer) Now make this area by using pen tool and fill it with this color (#046634).


Step 19: (Add new layer) Make the rubber area with the help of pen tool and fill it with this color (#FC9A94).


Step 20: (Add new layer) In the last step of making the pencil we make the pencil nip by using pen tool and fill it with this color(#B4B2B4).


Step 21: Now in the last step of the whole tutorial use the same brush and black color to give the pencil a dirty or an unusual look as if it is very old.
