8. Switch colors to match his different skin
tones.
9. Now stitches completed.
10. Make your flower layer invisible.
11. Select your stitches layer and add the
layer effect "Bevel and Emboss".Set the style to
inner bevel, the depth to 1 up and the blur to one. Click ok.
12. Make 3 copies of the stitches layer and
rename them Set Screen, Set Filler, stitches (original), and Set Multi.
13. Move the Set Screen layer one pixel to
the right and one pixel up, then set the layer option to Screen.
14. Move the Set Filler one pixel up and to
the right. Move the Set Multi layer on pixel down and one pixel to the left
and set the layer option to Multiply.
15. Create a new layer above the surface layer
and name it underpainting.
16. Now select paintbrush tool and use yellow
color to paint behind the stitches.
17. After painting the image should look like
this.
18. Set the underpainting layer to Multiply.
19. Create a new layer on the top and name
it depth.
20. Set Depth to Multiply
and grab the airbrush, set it's opacity to 50%.
21.. Lightly brush at the edges of your stitches.
22. Now make visible flower layer.Add a layer mask.
23. Mask out everything except stiches portion.
24. Set the blending mode of the mask layer
to Color.
25. This is my final image.
