The Reflection effect is one of the most useful special effects Adobe Photoshop has to offer. This will show how to make a reflection. In this tutorial we will use Pen Tool, Gradient Tool, Marquee selection Tool options to get that effect.

5. Fill it with white.

6. Flattened the image.Now Right click on the imge and select Layer via copy.

7. Now Go to Image>Canvas Size.

 

8. Increase the Vertical size.

9.Select the first layer and click in the chain box icon of the second to link.

10. Go to Edit>Transform>Flip Vertical, to flip the second image layer vertically.

11. Move the reflected image underneath the main one & get it as close without overlapping.

12.Make a new layer; place it on top of the reflected banana layer. Select the Gradient tool, with background/foreground colors are black and white.Check the "reverse" box.

   

13.Drag the Gradient Tool from the top of selection to the bottom.

14.Set the blend mode to Screen and lower the opacity.

15.Deselect it and Here's what I made:
